Effective date: June 15, 2026
This policy explains what Kinetic Gain LLC ("Kinetic Gain," "we," "us") collects when you subscribe to our newsletter or use this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We wrote it to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
If you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address, and the fact and time of your consent. That is the entire record.
If you simply browse the site: this is a static website with no analytics, advertising, or third-party trackers running at this time. We do not set tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) for security and operational purposes, as nearly all web infrastructure does. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future, we will update this policy before turning it on.
We do not collect your name, location, payment information, or any special-category data through this site.
Why we collect it, and our legal basis
We collect your email address for one purpose: to send you the Kinetic Gain newsletter, which you asked to receive. Our legal basis is your consent — you entered your address and opted in. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not need it for anything else.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing. Ever.
We do use service providers ("processors") to operate the newsletter, and your email address passes through them strictly to deliver what you signed up for:
- Web3Forms — currently handles the submission of the subscribe form. They process the form data on our behalf.
- An email delivery provider — when we select the service that sends the newsletter, we will name it here and update this policy before your address is used with it.
Each processor acts only on our instructions and only to run the newsletter. We choose providers that handle data responsibly, and we will keep this list current as it changes.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address for as long as you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we remove you from active sending and delete or anonymize your address within a reasonable period, except where we must retain a minimal record to honor your unsubscribe request (for example, a suppression entry that prevents us from re-adding you by mistake).
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe anytime. Every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email us at the address below.
- Access, correction, deletion. You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Because we hold only your email and consent record, this is quick.
- No tracking to opt out of. We don't run behavioral tracking, so there is nothing to tune.
If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time (withdrawing it does not affect anything sent before you withdrew). If you are in California, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know, delete, and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights — and note that we do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined. To exercise any of these, email us; we will respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires.
Children
This site and newsletter are intended for professionals and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has subscribed, email us and we will remove the record.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data — for example, when we add an email delivery provider or introduce analytics — we will update this page and change the effective date above. Material changes that affect how your data is used will not apply retroactively without a fresh basis.
