What this is — and is not
What it is: a single-page documentation template aligned in vocabulary with NIST AI RMF (Govern · Map · Measure · Manage) and the EU AI Act's high-risk-system disclosure expectations. The fourteen fields cover the questions buyers, boards, and auditors ask about a deployed AI system.
What it isn't: a regulatory submission, a substitute for an EU AI Act technical file, an ISO/IEC 42001 control mapping, or legal advice. A filled-in System Card does not certify the system, satisfy any framework, or transfer liability. It documents what your team already knows. The audit conversation is still yours to have.
